Nooks win the pitching duel against the Bucs for their first home W of the season

The Nooks came into tonights game looking to improve on yesterday's struggles. Luke Rolland took the hill tonight and would enter into a pitching duel at Lee Jordan Field. Rolland would give up one run over six innings with two hits, four walks, and five strikeouts. The Nooks would hand the Ball over to Luke McCoy for the 7th. He worked 1.1 scorless innings with two strikeouts. The Chinooks tied the game in the bottom half of the 7th with a Patrik McGlon RBI double, scoring Jake Mitchell. Evan Rossi was the next arm out of the pen and he went 1.2 IP with no runs, no hits, one walk, and one strikeout. In the bottom of the 9th, McGlon would leadoff the inning with a double. After Isaiah Parido pinch ran for McGlon, he would score on a walk-off pass ball, securing the win for the Nooks. The Chinooks are at home tomorrow against the Pilots and will look to stay in the win column.
