Tim Cole

National and International Baseball Director for Athletes In Action / GM – Chugiak Chinooks (ABL)

Tim Cole, a native of Mulvane, Kansas, has served as the General Manager and Head Baseball Coach of the Chugiak-Eagle River Chinooks for the past three seasons. In 2025, he was honored as Manager of the Year. This season, Tim will continue serving the organization as General Manager and Associate Head Coach.

Throughout the year, Tim serves as the National and International Director for Athletes In Action Baseball, where he works closely with international baseball federations in Argentina, the Caribbean, and Israel. Since 2021, he has helped lead and develop international baseball and ministry partnerships around the world through sports ministry, leadership development, and coaching.

Prior to joining Athletes In Action full-time, Tim was the Head Baseball Coach at Hesston College from 2018–2020. Before Hesston, he spent six years at Southern Nazarene University as an Assistant Coach from 2012–2018. During his time at SNU, Tim coached catchers and outfielders from 2012–2014 before becoming the Pitching Coach and one of the program’s Recruiting Coordinators from 2014–2018.

In the summer of 2018, Tim served as the Head Coach of the OKC Ambassadors, leading the team to a 32–17 record and three tournament championships. The previous summer, he was the Pitching Coach for the USA International Athletes In Action College Team, traveling to Panama and Guatemala alongside John McLaughlin.

Tim earned his Associate’s Degree in Physical Education from Labette Community College in 2010 before completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Southern Nazarene University in 2012. He later earned his Master’s Degree in Sports Management and Administration from Southern Nazarene University in 2017.

Outside of baseball, Tim enjoys visiting National Parks with his wife Casey, skiing, fly fishing, hunting, golfing, traveling, learning about different cultures, and watching classic 90’s movies. He is passionate about Sports Ministry, servant leadership, and helping develop athletes into leaders on and off the field.
